What is Clements Group Health

Clements Group Health is an international group health plan available for businesses and organizations to provide for their employees working in locations outside their home countries


Who is eligible to join
The Clements Group Health™ plan is available for organizations to purchase for their employees-- professionals living outside of their home country on temporary or permanent assignment. Complete family coverage is available under this program, including local nationals and dependents who reside in their home country.
What is the process for obtaining this insurance
We will need an application from you (either online or manual) which will be reviewed by underwriting. After approval, you should receive your policy documents in about a week.
After my organization signs up and I am covered under Clements Group Health, what documentation will I receive?
You will receive a packet that includes the ID cards, policy booklet, claim forms, claim instructions, and prescription drug information.
What if I move to a different country?
Our plans are portable, that is if you move to a new expat country you can take your coverage with you as long as you continue working for the organization. If you leave the organization, then you can purchase the GlobalCare® plan.
What is the health insurance deductible?
The deductible/excess is the amount of out-of-pocket expense that each policy member pays in a calendar year before benefits start. You can choose the deductible from $0 to $5,000 based on the premium.

They process and pay overseas medical claims, answer any coverage questions, and provide emergency customer service 24/7. Who is HTH Worldwide?
Clements' partnership with HTH Worldwide ensures our clients receive top notch customer service and claims assistance.

HTH Worldwide is the third-party administrator of claims for Clements Worldwide. They process and pay overseas medical claims, answer any coverage questions, and provide emergency customer service 24/7. You can submit a claim through their electronic claims system or by mail, email, and fax. By submitting a claim through the electronic claims system, you will not have to mail original invoices or receipts to our claims department. Simply complete the online claims form, attach any documents and submit it online. You are also able to track all claims on their system 24/7.

Download a claim form online from the Clements Group Health website. Once logged in, visit the Member Hub and locate the Claims section and the Download Medical Claim Form link.

Claims should be submitted within 180 days from the date of service. If the claims are not submitted within 180 days from date of service, such claims will be denied for timely filing. Be sure to attach a complete itemized bill prepared by the provider of service that includes the charges for each service along with the medical condition for which the treatment was performed.

Does this plan exclude preexisting conditions?
With groups of 30 or more employees, preexisting conditions are waived. With groups of 29 or less employees, preexisting conditions are waived for those employees that can provide a CCC (Certificate of Credible Change). Otherwise, preexisting conditions are excluded (treatment for a medical condition for which medical advice, diagnosis, care or treatment was recommended or received) in the last 18 months before purchasing the policy. Please note that this does not mean you are excluded from coverage, but those specific items would not be covered.

How do I authorize the sharing of my protected health information with someone I designate?

You may print and complete the HIPAA Authorization form and send to HTH Worldwide by email.
